When Zoe first came to us she was bleeding from her head and had a deep, intentional cut across her face. She was scared and crying, and she clung to me as I picked her up from the carrier where her other three litter mates sat waiting, after rushing them into our Vet’s office. I held her up so that the Vet could examine her and waited for the worst news, but I didn’t get bad news that day. Our wonderful Vet gave me some reassuring at home care instructions and several words of encouragement, and we discovered they had all been cut.
So I took them all home, treated their wounds, began the hard work of starting a cat and kitten rescue, and Zoe and her three siblings would be our first adoptable pets.

Looking For: A new family to love with an endless supply of treats and other humans and animals to play with. Must love to sweep and let her practice her fighting moves.
The name Zoe in Greek means “life” and Zoe has always been a champion of life. Her story is a beautiful example of what it means to survive, even when you are faced with the greatest challenges and obstacles. Zoe fiercely defends the household against brooms and vacuums. She has never met a straw, that she did not try to pull out of a cup and proudly carrier across the floor. She is a brave and loving lap kitten that loves to roll over and play with you while you cuddle her.
She is a stunning kitten, with a variety of beautiful colors and patterns and is one of the most unique cats I’ve ever met.
She needs a family that will love her as deeply and unconditionally as she loves. She has a heart for humans that is bigger than the whole world and she is one of the most loving, entertaining and adventurous kittens. She is an incredible blessing and I am so glad she survived and is here with us. If you want a family pet that will brighten up your household and will become an incredible new addition to your loving family, Zoe is all those things and more.
Zoe has had all of her shots, including FeLV, has been dewormed and has been treated for fleas and ticks. She is fully litter box trained and is available for adoption by emailing us at email@example.com.
